Thanks Sandor, the plan was to migrate PPC website as well, but migration
to to our main site is a bit of a disaster, at the moment, we are trying to
sort that out first.... So, our plans are up in the air, at the moment.

Dear Seamus,

Not quite right.

The domain is managed by a registrar. This is a company who renews manages etc the domain.
When you would like to change provider, you have to have the EPP code which proves that you own the domain. You have to use this EPP code to transfer the domain to the new registrar.

The process is that you make a decision to move, get the code and give it to the new registrar.
There is no sense to get the code if there is no will to move. The code itself expires within 2 weeks. This time usually enough for the new provider to set up everything.

Dear Seamus,

Thank you for your email. I'm sorry about the decision but we still can host the websites for €50+VAT per year on a smaller hosting space and without Website support what was included in the current plan.

Our hosting includes
- email services
- 10GB storage
- daily backup and restore service if necessary
- Basic antispam and antivirus service on emails.
- Control panel access to manage your own environment

You can also keep the domains with us as the balallyparish.ie and the balallyppc.ie domains are a charity domain provided for free of charge.

I respect your decision however and provided the requested EPP codes. They are managed on two separate systems so the rules are a bit different how these codes are provided.

balallyppc.ie code has been sent to you by email to the email address: parishofbalally@eircom.net

The certificates are free certificates what we provided on our hosting system for free of charge automatically. I cannot pass these on as they are tied to the hosting server IP address so they won't work on another server, however if the new hosting provider supports the free certificate it would be relatively easy to generate a new one.

Dates for your diary: A new invoice will be generated on 27 January and your hosting will be live until 10 February and based on our rules the hosting will be closed on the day of 11 February if your decision is final.

and we've decided to take our website design 'in-house' and migrate to an
alternative web hosting provider. We plan to migrate both sites in the
coming weeks.
